Geoff Bourhill

Geoff has been in practice for 29 years. He was a partner of Lavan Legal and its predecessor firm for 23 years, before joining Tottle Partners in 2010.
Throughout his career, Geoff has been involved in a broad range of insurance related claims. Since 1985, he has been constantly involved in the conduct of claims on behalf of insurers. These have included motor vehicle, public liability, employer's liability, workers' compensation, solicitor's negligence and medical negligence claims.
His particular areas of interest include coverage provided by third party insurance legislation, medical negligence claims, claims from asbestos-related diseases and solicitor's claims arising from personal injuries actions.
He also provides advice on occupational health and safety issues.
Geoff has appeared as counsel in many trials, appeals and inquests, including the Gracetown Inquest and as counsel in the State Administrative Tribunal.
