Richard Wilenski was admitted to practice in Western Australia in 1990. His practice has a particular focus on construction projects, contracting strategies, advice and dispute resolution, patents, trade marks, copyright and other intellectual property advice, and dispute resolution.
Richard’s area of expertise includes providing construction project related advice to a wide range of clients, including publicly listed and private companies. He also works regularly with developers and promoters of intellectual property and with patent, trade mark and design attorneys within Australia.
Richard has experience in the selection, negotiation and strategic use of contracts and contracting strategies in construction and in the commercial application of intellectual property. His practice also includes advising on alternative forms of dispute resolution including mediation, expert determination, arbitration, court references and court proceedings.
Apart from advising clients, Richard regularly provides conference papers on contracting and construction for IES Conferences, a national provider of seminars and industry conferences. He is also a member of the WA Construction and Infrastructure Committee of the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
