  • Excited by innovation and practice based initiatives?
  • Interested in helping shape the future of a leading boutique law firm?

Then this may very well be the role for you...

Tottle Partners is a well established firm, recognised for the quality of the litigious and non-litigious services we provide to our clients and the supportive, down-to-earth culture we offer our staff.

We seek a Practice Manager to help us maintain that quality and culture and to help us to position ourselves to take advantage of the constant evolution of the Western Australian legal profession. We recognise the importance of being flexible and innovative so we can continue to provide our clients and staff with the service and support they deserve.

You will be passionate about professional practice administration (including IT), innovation, business development, fostering a positive culture and, ideally, the legal profession! Or you may very well be seeking to learn what our challenging profession has to offer.

Your role will have both internal and external responsibilities, including liaising with our partners, clients, key service providers, industry bodies and interest groups.

You will be able to work a minimum of 0.8 FTE and you will have established or growing skills and experience in:

  • professional service firm administration, including general management of IT
  • managing the workload and tasks of our support staff
  • managing workplace change
  • marketing and business development, including website and/or social media maintenance
  • keeping up to date with developments and innovation in the legal profession

You need not have financial management, accounts administration or human resources qualifications or experience. Previous legal practice management experience is preferred but not essential.

We will offer the successful candidate an attractive salary package and the benefits of working in the rewarding culture which Tottle Partners offers.

If you would like to learn more about this role or the firm generally, we would be happy to have a confidential discussion with you about your interests and experience.  Please see further information below.

practitioners

Tottle Partners continues to develop and we are always interested in engaging outstanding lawyers to join our team.

We value lawyers who are innovative, independent and flexible and who act with integrity.

Our lawyers do not have to wait years to do challenging and interesting work; you will work directly with our clients and senior lawyers from day one. We have an ‘open door’ policy and do not work in a rigid hierarchy or team structure, so you have the opportunity to work with many of your colleagues in the firm and gain experience in a satisfying range of practice areas. The firm is founded on all of our staff supporting and respecting each other and knowing that they are valued for their contribution.

You will receive training from partners who are recognised and respected in the fields in which they practise and through our comprehensive CPD program. Our goal is to give all of our lawyers the opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills and experience they need to excel and to gain the trust and confidence of our clients, regardless of their seniority.

With many of our partners having left large national firms to join Tottle Partners, we know the importance of flexible work practices and enabling our staff to achieve a positive work/life balance. We will give you the freedom, systems and resources you need to achieve that flexibility and balance.

Our value of and commitment to diversity and inclusion is apparent from the composition of our staff, including our partners.

If you are interested in joining Tottle Partners please provide us with your contact details by email to our Practice Manager, Kirsty McPhee, at careers@tottle.com and attach a current curriculum vitae.
